This is an ideal gift solution, and also works well for those who want the added bonus of letting everyone know exactly who owns the great Marware case, and the device inside.

How it works:

1. iPod & Phone Cases: Your text will be Laser Etched on the back of your case, centered. iPod touch and iPhone cases will be etched horizontally – iPod nano cases will be etched vertically. In the event that the case style does not allow for text to be centered on the case, the etching will be below any design details or clips that interfere with center positioning.


2. Fonts: We have a number of font options available to suit your preference. Please make sure and select appropriate font from the drop-down menu on the product page prior to clicking ‘Add to Cart’.
   
   


3. Personalized Text: Immediately below the Font selection drop-down menu, enter the Text you wish to have Laser Etched. Please note the character limits and font size (explained below).


4. Font Size & Character Limits: The font size is 18 point. The character limit is 12. Note that iPhone and touch cases will etch horizontally, and nano cases will etch vertically.


5. Availability: Due to the variety of materials Marware uses, not all cases are suitable for Laser Etching, so please be aware that this option is only available on a limited number of cases, and due to different materials, results vary in terms of the depth and look of the etching. If you do not see an option for adding Text and selecting Font in your ‘Add to Cart’ dialog, it means Laser Etching is not available for this case.

Q: How do I add Laser Etching to a Marware case?

A: If Laser Etching is an option for the case you have selected, on the actual Product Page, you will see the option available to you right below the Price and above the Add to Cart button.

Q: How long does it take?

A: Laser Etching is a manual process, so typically this adds 3-5 business days to your order. Expedited Service may be available in the future for faster processing. Q: How does Laser Etching work?

A: Laser Etching, also referred to as Engraving, uses a precision laser technology that directs a highly controlled beam in a precise pattern defined by software. Different materials react differently to the laser, so the intensity and duration are calibrated by Marware individually based on the case material. The result is a professional-quality etched and personalized case.

Q: What are your cancellation, return, and return policies for Laser Etched cases?

A: Typically, Marware is able to accept cancellations within 24 hours of receiving the order. Due to the nature of personalized products, and the labor required to create them, refunds and returns on Laser Etched products are not possible. Marware does, however, guarantee the quality and accuracy of our Laser Etching if product is not delivered as ordered (text or font are wrong, for example).

Q: Are there any options for Corporate, School, or Organizational logos that may involve specialized graphics?

Q: What if my Laser Etching request exceeds the character limits allowed?

A: Unfortunately, space is limited on our cases, and the character limit is fixed. However, it may be possible with larger volume orders to lower the font size upon request.

Q: Is there an extra fee for this service?

A: No, Marware currently does not charge an extra fee for Laser Etching on our cases, as a courtesy to customers purchasing directly from our website.

We are happy to work with you on this, and because our work is done in-house (for smaller production runs), we can typically turn these around quickly. We’ll coordinate with you to determine what graphics you want on the case, do a sample run and send you clear photos and/or samples. Once approved, we can go to production quickly.
